On Saturday we were at Park Road Community School in Warrington for their Christmas Fayre, organised and run by the PTA this was a great event. We were surprised at the number of people who agreed with us, it's never too cold for Ice Cream.
Once again there were a number of good quality craft stalls, offering those last minute gifts. Unusual ones that you just don't find in the shops. 2 tombolas ( we won some wine), christmas music, face painting, it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves. Most of the children bought ice cream and loved it, some came back for more. Hopefully we will be going back in the summer for their summer fayre. It was a busy day throughout which was great as alll of the proceeds go to the school to provide lots of exciting equipment for the children
Here are a couple of images before the rush.
On Sunday we returned to the Mansion House in St Helens for their Christmas Fayre. We were last there in August as the wedding photographers for a lovely couple, Karyn & Darren. At the moment the Mansion House and the grounds are going through extensive renovations which are due to be complete in Spring 2014 and there is no doubt that this will be one of the North West's Premier Wedding Venues. So soon to be "brides" get yourself down there and have a look around! And by the way you will see some of our photos playing on the big screen on the reception.
Although it was a cold day, we sold lots of Ice Cream. There were some lovely craft ideas, home made cakes and Santa made an appearance. The staff were really great, most dressed up for the occasion. Ian (Corporate Director) looked very dapper surrounded by the girls, and of course our Ice Cream waiter, John.
