Rivington Hall Barn is a fantastic venue in which to get married, espcially if you have the weather too. Yesterday we had a great time serving our ice cream at the wedding of Laura & Doug.
We arrived early to set up our ice cream bike on the front lawn, outside the mansion house. Right from the start it was busy, the queue never went down. A late warm summer afternoon, obviously a big factor, as well as the taste.
Laura chose the following flavours Pear Drop, Vanilla with crunchy honeycomb pieces, Chocolate Orange and a lovely Rasberry Sorbet. Once Laura and her guests moved inside for their meal, we followed them. Things were running a little late, which is to be expected when guests are feeling relaxed. We therefore decided to stay an extra hour & a half, to make sure everyone got a taste, some even came back for seconds.
